About:-

Valley of Flowers National Park is   an Indian national   park,   located   in West Himalaya, in the state of Uttarakhand and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard,[1] musk deer,[1] brown bear, red fox,[1] and blue sheep. Birds found in the park include Himalayan monal pheasant and other high altitude birds. At 3352 to 3658 meters above sea level, the gentle landscape of the Valley of Flowers National Park complements the rugged mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi National Park to the east. Together, they encompass a unique transition zone between the mountain ranges of the Zanskar and Great Himalaya. The park stretches over an expanse of 87.50 km2 and it is about 8 km long and 2 km wide.[2] Both parks are encompassed in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve(223,674 ha) which is further surrounded by a buffer zone (5,148.57 km2). Nanda Devi National Park Reserve is in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

Detail Itinerary :-

Day 1 - Road journey from Rishikesh to Joshimath. Overnight stay at Joshimath. (Drive/ 240km 10hrs)

Uphill Picturesque Drive, Devaprayag, Confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda

Around 6am, assemble at Bus Station. Begin a long distance, uphill drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath. Along the way, stop over at Devaprayag, to witness the holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers to form the River Ganges. Arrive at Joshimath. You’ve the choice of overnight stay in tents/ a local guesthouse/ home stay.

Day 2 - Drive from Joshimath to Govind Ghat. Trek begins. (Pulna Village to Ghanghriya, 12Km )

 

Day 3- Trek from Ghanghriya to Hemkund Lokpal , Trek back to Ghanghriya (12Km)

Day 4 - Trek from Ghanghriya to  Valley of Flower , Trek back to Pulna Village (19Km) and back to Joshimath .



Day 5 - End of journey. Drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh

Trip ends here

Leave Joshimath early for your return journey home from Rishikesh. This will be the last leg of your trip to the mountains. Take along a large pile of unforgettable memories in this Valley Of Flowers Trek.

Note :- First aid kit provided by organizer. Trekkers should carry Water Bottle, trekking shoes, raincoat, and woolen clothes along with them.

Advisory

  • ·       This package has two variation. The one with transport includes a pick and dropfrom Rishikesh to Joshimath and then back to Rishikesh , Joshimath is the startpoint of the trek. The one without transport, Trekker have to reach Joshimath onhis own.
  • ·       Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate timetoget acclimatized tohigh altitudes.
  • ·       Payheed to thetrekleaderorinstructorinorderto enjoyasafeand soundtrekkingexperience.
  • ·       Donotconsumealcoholoranyotherintoxicantsduringthetrek.

Cancellation Policy

 

  • ·       Ifcancellations aremade15days beforethestartdateofthetrip,25%ofbookingvaluewill bechargedas cancellation fees.
  • ·       If cancellations are made 05 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of bookingvaluewill bechargedas cancellation fees.
  • ·       If cancellations are made within 0-5 days before the start date of the trip, 100% ofbookingvaluewillbecharged ascancellation fees.
  • ·       In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certainactivities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best toprovideanalternatefeasibleactivity.Howevernorefundwillbeprovidedforthesame.

Refund Policy

·       The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days

 

Confirmation Policy

·       The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

·       In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

·       Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed.

 

IMPORTANT: A minimum group size of 5 pax is required to make a booking.(Extra porter will be charged extra.)
